This edition has our full game in English on the front of each card and Vietnamese on the back to help bridge language, culture, and generational gaps.

We want to make sure that our Vietnamese edition feels most welcoming for all family members and dialects, so we left blanks for family pronouns (mom, dad, etc.). Don’t worry, we included a guide card listing the most popular 26 ways to refer to loved ones.

Bringing people together

Love how the questions can be used to build connection amongst anyone. I like how this set has both languages as it helps me practice my Vietnamese. Some questions are fun and other require vulnerability that not everyone is ready for. Keep going.

Wonderful

My parents are in their young 60s, I am 32, my brother 31, and my sister 23. We played over Christmas and it was a great way for my family to open up to each other. I especially liked the levels, whether a question/task would be easy or challenging. This was one of the best purchases of the year and will look to regularly use the deck!

Best way to get to know family of all ages

I played this with my younger sibling and dad at the same time. It was really beautiful and we got to say meaningful things to each other that normally wouldn't come up. Having cards to fidget with makes opening up so much easier for all parties. Having Viet made it easy for my sibling and I to learn more Viet and to get some nuances across to our dad. Best 24 dollars I've spent. Also, when I mis-ordered and got an english version on accident, Joseph was AMAZING and helped me sort it out right away. Thank you, Parents Are Human <3 <3

Want to get closer to your parents but have a language barrier?

Look no further. Not only did I get closer with my immediate family of Vietnamese descent, but also brought it out when my Peruvian in-laws came over and to be honest it was more of a hit with them!

It's Not Just A Game(Changer) it's an Action of Love

Vietnamese parents are famously difficult to break through, and with the growing divides in American politics, a decrease in bilingual fluency in Vietnamese American culture, it's easier than ever to feel disconnected from our ancestors. This game is marvelous. Having the ability to understand others deeper, connect, and most importantly provide a conversation starter that opens the door for genuine love and talks is priceless. I can't thank Joseph enough for going out of his way to make sure that my parents got a copy in time for the holidays. It's a simple premise that can do so much for fractured and intergenerational relationships. I can't recommend this enough.
